Initiating Miscellaneous Functions

You can initiate the available functions listed in this section through the shortcut menu in the Contents tab, Search tab, or Favorites tab. Not all functions are available in all tabs. The procedures in this section are based on using the Contents tab, but they can be easily adapted for use in another tab.

    Printing from Knowledge Builder

        ATTENTION

      • We recommend that you do not use the browser's native print function to print Knowledge Builder hosted content. Doing so will produce a hard copy output similar to the same function when it is used to print any Web page. Some of the disadvantages of this method include output that is not formatted for paper, headers/footers are not provided, and page breaks are not inserted.
      • You may use the native application's print function for file types, such as Acrobat PDF, to print such hosted content directly from the Knowledge Builder.

Use the following procedure to initiate a print out of selected content. This procedure assumes that you have connected a printer to your computer.
